Due to a short project timeline, we began by conducting user interviews in order to understand recent college grads’ backgrounds in personal finance education.

Multiple learning styles like videos, games, and flashcards appeals to more users
Progress bars and leaderboards could be fun, motivating elements
Implementing a quiz to finalize a section of learning would allow users to feel accomplished and confident in their newfound knowledge

What we discovered
68% of our respondents struggle to understand investments
Over half of them find spending to be a significant challenge
Majority of respondents are visual learners
Respondents do not feel confident when it comes to savings and credit
Build out the quiz feature to test the efficacy of teaching approaches within modules
Integrate leaderboards feature to allow for in-classroom use as a supplemental learning tool
Improve level of gamification by animating responses to correct/incorrect answers and reaching 100% progress on your meter
